Dads Can be “Stay at home” too

Paid Leave for Women … And Men

This article focuses on how family dynamics influence workplace success. Its calls for a dramatic change in policy, one that enables women, and men to take leave when they, or their family members are sick or in need of care without being punished for it. It correlates to history because, as the article points out, “many [companies] still operate as if all employees were available 24/7, with stay-at-home spouses.” Clearly that is no longer true with roughly two thirds of women being either breadwinner, or co-breadwinner in their households. Its time for policies to change! while were at it lets put a woman in the CEO office.
